Our History
River City Shop Talk’s producer, Brain Lint Productions, was formed in the late 90’s to produce a rather terrible version of Sam Shepard’s Angel City. Since then the productions have gotten better (honest), and we have branched out into voice over and film production.
Our Vision
River City Shop Talk is a new web series that shines a light on the small businesses that make Winnipeg special. Through candid conversations and behind-the-scenes glimpses, we tell the real stories of the people who pour their hearts into their work every day. These aren’t just shops, they’re passion projects, neighbourhood anchors, and proof that resilience lives on every corner.
We’re here to listen, laugh, and remind you why buying local isn’t just a transaction, it’s a connection.
